Camping trip from London

Hey before the weather really starts getting s***o, I want to go on a geocaching camping trip sometime soon.

Anyone from london area want to come?

I work shifts, so am free randomly during the week.

Can be somewhere close for a night, or maybe lake or peak district for a longer trip.

I have a car if you don't!

It's grown to be a great event with cachers from all over the SE attending... I drive down from Cheshire just to see LMN, and I can't wait for this year's event!

true true, its much closer, but I work half of the weekends so not sure if I'll be free for that yet

Thats why I was looking for folks who are sometimes free in the week who want to go exploring, not specifically to events

if you are looking for somewhere, a place called Birchcombe Farm, near Wantage in Oxfordshire. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=4476 its five minutes from me and we have camped there so we can recommend it. Its also pretty cheap and do cream teas at weekends.

 

There is 442 caches within a 10 mile radius of the campsite or 90 within a five mile radius, postcode for the place is SN7 7QJ if you want to have a look and is about an hour from london, bristol and southampton.
