BlueDeuce
Now, is there a way to get a CACHE's statistics (last find, difficulty/terrain, etc) as a stat box like this? I added this to a request on the website... A very interesting idea. Just the wrong forum. Quote Link to comment

ThomasFamilyZA
Just dusting this off for any new people. Thanks, this works really well, added all our TB's onto our profile with this tip Quote Link to comment
farrtom
Thanks for the new tip. Some of us "newer" cachers like learning these tips and tricks. Quote Link to comment

NanCycle
So, suddenly, after today's update, most of my TBs in the StatBox have lost their images and just show a generic bug image. Funny, that's most, not all. Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
Hmmm, same here. Haven't quite pinpointed what the differences are between the showing and not showing. Quote Link to comment
ThomasFamilyZA
Got the same problem, but it is only 2 out of 10 that show the TB logo, for the other 8 the original images still show up Quote Link to comment
NanCycle
There is a feedback topic posted for this: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=285035&pid=4887794&st=0entry4887794 Quote Link to comment
NanCycle
So, suddenly, after today's update, most of my TBs in the StatBox have lost their images and just show a generic bug image. Funny, that's most, not all. Now this problem has been officially fixed, but 6 of my TBs' images are still showing just the generic. What do I need to do to fix them? Quote Link to comment
ThomasFamilyZA
Mine all have the images on again, but the sizing has gone all weird and for most of them the picture is cut off Quote Link to comment

ipodguy
Just coming back to say thanks again! I recently hosted an event to begin a travel bug race and I used your tip to create a gallery of all the participants on the cache page. Take a look: My TB race Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
Honestly I had no idea you could do the same on a cache page. (Didn't think that far) Brilliant. Quote Link to comment
Mike & Jess
Honestly I had no idea you could do the same on a cache page. (Didn't think that far) Brilliant. I did a quick test with the existing piece of code and it didn't work for caches. When I get some time, I might see about messing around with it a bit and see if I can adjust it to make it work. +The_Roots
Thank you so much! I don't usually try this stuff because I am not exactly a wiz at it but this was SO easy! My picture is slightly cut off at the top but I can deal with that! Quote Link to comment
nonaeroterraqueous
Thanks for the pointer. It works great. Now I'm going to have to get some more trackables. All of mine are missing. This is going to work really nicely with a themed cache I have in mind. Quote Link to comment
scrapcat
We forgot to thank you - my sister used this to create a page for our duck races: http://wikidkriket.com/duckrace.html Thank you very much! Little heartbreaking about our race, though .... 2 of my ducks were picked up asap and, within a week, were within 30 miles from the final. Then they were stolen (Cache owner marked a ton of TB's missing because the container was muggled). Edited March 27, 2013 by scrapcat Quote Link to comment
Cache on Wheels
A Stat Box is a little icon you can place on your public profile that shows the image, name, mileage, and current location of your Traveler. People can also click on the image to access the bug page. These are the instructions on how to add a stat box to your profile. (Don't worry, it's not hard to do) Step 1. Make sure you have a default image set on your bug. This will not work without one. Step 2. Copy this line of code and paste it into a text editor, like Notepad. <a href="http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=##########"><img border="0"src="http://img.geocaching.com/stats/tb.aspx?guid=##########"></a> Step 3. Access your bug page and select Edit This Trackable. Step 4. In the URL address field of your browser, copy off all the little numbers and letters after the guid= Step 5. Over in your Text editor replace the ########## with the little numbers and letters. Note: The ########## is listed twice, paste the same information in both locations. (Do not replace anything else except the #'s) Step 6. Copy all that information in your text editor and paste it into your profile. I prefer to add an HTML paragraph separator <p> on a line before and after so it doesn't interfere with the other details I have on my profile. If you are adding multiple bugs do not put any HTML break between them and they will line up side by side on your profile page. Step 7. Submit and view your profile page. (You may need to refresh the screen) TADA! Fantastic I just saw this posted via CacheFace, I'm going to have a go at this tomorrow, thank you for easy to follow instructions Quote Link to comment
Kacher82
Anything I can do about the pictures being cut off, and also long names running off the bottom? I just set all my TBs up on my profile, and several of the pictures are cut off. My personal nametag picture just shows my torso, no head or legs . The ones I don't have a default picture on just show a generic bug image, which is ok. I'll try to get some kind of picture on them. Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
You'd probably have to reduce the size of the photo which unfortunately means the bug page loses out on a decent photo as well. Nothing I can suggest about the name length other than to submit a new feature request. But considering my current level of cynicism I'm not promising you'll get any response at all. Yeah, I've gotten a bit cynical about that, too. I do at least have pictures on all the stat-boxes now. Edited June 8, 2013 by Kacher82 Quote Link to comment
