+Eric K Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 For those of us in the States can anyone provide a UK map of UK, Wales, and Scottish counties? Also, I noticed on the UK cache can I assume the name in the (parenthesis) of the cache is the county that cache is in? Get your trackable USA geocoins at http://www.usageocoins.com Quote
+Bill D (wwh) Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 This map's pretty good except for the Welsh counties, which have changed. For up-to-date Welsh counties see this map. Yes, the bit in brackets is (usually) the county name. It's recommended but not obligatory. Occasionally, someone will put something other than the county name in brackets. And we have quite a few not always obvious abbreviations, like Hants for Hampshire, Oxon for Oxfordshire and Salop for Shropshire. Bill Quote
