+freespirit444
I found a plaque by accident in a historical wetland in Federal Way, Wa. It had Geo-Trek #5 on it and the coordinates of where it stood. It explained there are several plaques in Federal Way and all at historical landmarks and all numbered as part of a trek. Is this part of Geocaching? Or is it totally seperate and a private City of Federal Way thing? It was kinda cool! Quote Link to comment
+Castle Mischief
A quick Google search turned up this: http://www.adventureassoc.com/team/geotrek.html GeoTrek Team Building AdventureGeoTrek, based on the recreational sport of geo-caching, blends adventure and technology into a valuable and fun team building or team development experience. Courses are set in rural or urban setting and secret caches are hidden in parks or distinctive city spots. Your team will experience the novelty of learning to use GPS devices and the excitement of locating caches. "Actual" caches contain clues to the next cache or instructions for team challenges, while "virtual" caches require proof of discovery. Quote Link to comment

+MonkeyCakes
The Geo-trek series in Federal Way was an Eagle Scout project. It was designed to teach people more about the history of the Federal Way area. Quote Link to comment
