Thanks Part of the challenge is finding caches that satisfy the requirements of the challenge. Is there a particular reason you think I will do the work for you when I'm not doing the challenge? WOW! up to now every geocacher I ever met has been a kind and helpfull person who would go out of there way most anytime to assist a fellow cacher. Sorry to offend you with my question. Please try not to strain yourself to much on my account. Just for your info I have been searching for possible X caches for some time and so far have at least a days drive to get one. I thought I might get a little help and save a little gas. Quote Link to comment
Andronicus
You could always have a friend publish a X cache. That could solve your problem, but may leave you with an empty feeling. Maybe have a friend publish a X mountain top cache. Then at least it is still a big accomplishment. Quote Link to comment

That is kind of what caching is about, artificialy forcing yourself to do stuff/go places you normaly wouldn't. Quote Link to comment
+JL_HSTRE
The OP does raise a good question: what is the best way to find caches starting with a specific letter? If I use the GC search festure it will give me every cache with X in the title not just at the beginning. Quote Link to comment

Sorry to offend you with my question. Please try not to strain yourself to much on my account. Be nice! Hmm... I did X-Ray Vision Cache in New York City, but it's been archived... If you're a premium member, and use PQs and GSAK, you can list all the caches in alphabetic order. Does that help? Quote Link to comment

I guess I could begin running a overvlapping set of pq's to get a complete list for our bistate area. Might take a little time but it could be usefull. Quote Link to comment
+hesslv
If I may ask, what does it mean if a cache starts with an x? Something special? Quote Link to comment

+t4e
If I may ask, what does it mean if a cache starts with an x? Something special? there are challenge caches where you need to find caches that the title starts with each letter of the alphabet, once you've done that you can log the Challenge cache this is one from my area that i did http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...55-dea0cf516c8a Quote Link to comment
