+Bundyrumandcoke
A 3 1/2 minute YouTube video showing the growth of Geocaching in Australia, done by one of the caching and computer gurus over here. It gives a timeline, and counter of caches placed between the first in June 2000, and August 2009. Interesting to watch. I thought I would share the link with those over the other side of the pond. Its a bit slow at the start, but shows the kind of expotential growth that a game like this has. A bit like compound interest. +Cuddlefish
That was so incredibly cool. But it made me homesick. So, so homesick. Quote Link to comment
+Svejs
Interesting video. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if there are any videos like this for other countries. Here is one from sweden showing the evolution until 27 january, 2010 made by Luels : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hjE5GIazWY It is interesting to see the organized exploding firework, when multiple teams have released large number of caches at one time (like hundred caches at once...)... At the moment Sweden is heading for 30 000 caches, which are a rather large amount if you count the number of people living in the country and the areal of Sweden. Quote Link to comment
