+DxChallenged
Last Friday we found a bug; Oscar. We scooped him up and decided to place him in another state (we're heading off to Erie PA this weekend). I made the travelor a cape so that he would abide by the requirements of the cache...be Lord of the Rings Related. Well in reading Oscar's page I discovered that his goal was to reach the cache that I found him in. So last night I e-mailed the bug owner/originator and asked if they wanted me to take him to Erie, leave him there or to return him to the cache he was in. I figure that even if they want him returned I can take him to Erie...get px of him there and then return him. Can you mail bugs? I mean he made it to his destination...hadn't been removed by his owner...I diverted him... What would you do? How many bugs have made it to their final destination? Dx There in the sunshine are my highest aspirations... I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead. LMAlcott Quote Link to comment

Whatever the owner requests if s/he responds to your email before you depart. If not, I'd probably do as you suggested - take the bug, get the pix, return the bug to its "home cache".
