+jasondulac
I was thinking of holding a event at a local bowling alley that I work at. I was wondering if this is a kind of event people would be intrested in and if an event like this is alowed Quote Link to comment
+narcissa
I think it could work. Talk to the bowling alley first to find out how many people it can accommodate, and if you need to tell the bowling alley how many people to expect, make sure it's very clear on the event page that you need people to log their "will attends" on time. +secretagentbill
I haven't been bowling in ages. An event there sounds like fun. Quote Link to comment
+WRITE SHOP ROBERT
If they have an event room it would be great. Have your event in the room, and then anyone who wants to bowl together after or before can do that. If there's no event room, then I think it would be harder to make it work, with reserving lanes and all that. Since you work there, that might make it easier. Quote Link to comment
+cw1710
Ive done two events at a bowling alley here and one of them was the 10 years event. Both of them were a lot of fun. Quote Link to comment

We had a birthday party for my 7 year old at a local bowling alley. The bowling alley doesn't open until 4pm on Sundays, but will open at noon for private functions. Even though the place looks pretty old from the outside it's got mirror balls, flashing lights in between the lanes and and a really good jukebox. There were about a 15 kids at the party and they absolutely loved it. The price for renting the space for 3 hours was also quite reasonable. Quote Link to comment
+roziecakes
I would say go for it! We have local cache groups that meet at pizza places for meet and greets, or other restaurants, etc. Why not? I love bowling! Sounds like fun Quote Link to comment
+lachupa
bowling is one of those things that I never think of but when someone else does and I go I always have a good time Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Check to see if they are OK with spectators who simply want to attend an event, but not bowl. Shouldn't be an issue as those cachers will still buy beer n pizza. Quote Link to comment
+popokiiti
I wish we still had a bowling alley in our city - if we did, I would organise an event there in a heartbeat. Sadly the centre that housed a 10 pin lane and separate 5 pin lane were demolished to make way for super size Wally World, Best Buy and Future Shop and more stores. Quote Link to comment
