+dw
If I create a regular pocket query, when I get to the section Show me [500] caches of, by default Any Type is selected. If I then click on the checkbox for, say, Traditional Cache, the radio button for Any Type is automatically deselected and the button for Selected Types is chosen. This works great for me, if I am selecting various types of caches to include, then i do not want to Any Types button chosen. However, when I create a pocket query along a route, the same functionality is not in place. I often click on just those types of caches I would like to include, but I forget to click on the Selected Types button, and I end up getting ALL types because the Any Type button is still selected! I would like to see the same functionality when creating a query along a route as there is for the regular queries. Having them different often causes me to get fewer of the caches I want. Is this possible? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
+t4e
its certainly annoying, you might want to use the Feedback site to post that, it will get attention faster than in the forums http://feedback.geocaching.com/geocaching/topics Link to comment
+dw
Thanks, t4e, I did that. I guess I'm getting old, I didn't even know that feedback site existed. What is the point of this forum, then? I thought Groundspeak monitored this one... Link to comment
+Mezgrman
I think they're switching the monitoring of bugs, problems and ideas about the site slowly to the feedback site, but the forums are still the place for regular discussions. Link to comment
GOF and Bacall
It already looks like they are paying less attention to the feedback site. I guess the shine is wearing off the new toy. Link to comment
+Lil Devil
Well they certainly ain't going to monitor it (or the forums) on a weekend Link to comment
+Team Cotati
Is this an opinion or a fact based upon an observable, though short, track record?: "it will get attention faster than in the forums" Link to comment
