+SYOTT
I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and I'm very curious to if there's any other cachers out there living with epilepsy as well? I'd love to get in contact with you SYOTT ***Moderator- if this is in the wrong area on the forums, could you please move it as I wasn't sure where it would go*** Quote Link to comment
ashnikes
is there a cachers with disabilities section of the forums? I think that would make a great section, and would be very informative, and resourceful. I know there are lots of individual private sites for this sort of thing, but is there an official section on the forums for it? Quote Link to comment
+brslk
I will second that. There should be a thread or section for people with disabilities. I belong to a few RV forums that have such a thing and they are an excellent resource. Quote Link to comment
+Team MacKenzie
Hmm, but what would constitute a 'disability' and would we have to prove it to be allowed to post. Heck, I was once told that I should apply for disability payments... cause I was blonde, female, left-handed, short and Canadian... He said I'd be a shoe-in for it with that many handicaps.... Personally, I think that most of us have a 'disability' of one kind or another!! May as well just keep it all in one place don'tchathink! Quote Link to comment
+bittsen
If you suffer from Lakanookie, does that constitute a disability? Quote Link to comment
cejs
I would also be interested in seeing a forum topic devoted to this. I just introduced a friend in a wheel chair to geocaching and she loved it. But should could not get to 90% of the caches in our area. Quote Link to comment

If you have a disability you know it and don't need any proof to allow you to post. Quote Link to comment
+brslk
If you suffer from Lakanookie, does that constitute a disability? I suffered from Lakanookie for several years. I even resorted to the internet for cures. Some were helpful... some were not. There are various 'medical' devices that can deal with that. Quote Link to comment
+thedeadpirate
Don't we have OT for the mentality disabled already? Quote Link to comment
+TheAlabamaRambler
Creating a separate thread would be akin to moving it out of sight. Except maybe for Off Topic, Travel Bugs or Geocoins once something is moved from the Geocaching Topics forum it withers and dies. Quote Link to comment
+WRITE SHOP ROBERT
Does Handicaching still exist and do they have forums? Quote Link to comment
+thedeadpirate
Yes, but I don't think so. Quote Link to comment
