+Ikenspike
I grabbed a travel bug (Generic #103248) from a cache and want to place it in my new cache; however, it will not show up on my old cache page so I can highlight it, even though it is logged on the Travel Bug page. What is wrong? Quote Link to comment
+Team GeoCan
sounds like it hasn't been activated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THIS is the PUBLIC face of Geocaching, when someone learns of the sport this is where they come to learn more, what are YOU showing them? http://blacksheep.rootsweb.com/ International Black Sheep Society of Genealogists Quote Link to comment
+RocketMan
The bug has been activated and it is in your possession (look here). I don't know what you mean by "it will not show up on my old cache page." If you want to place the bug in your cache, post a note to the cache by clicking on “log your visit” on the cache page and select the bug from the list near the bottom of the log page before you click on submit. +Phoebe's family
I have recently had the same trouble and just emailed the Groundspeak people about it. I picked up a TB on Oct. 11th and logged it as such. My log appears on the TB's page. Then all of a sudden, another log appeared saying that I had left him at the same location! Not so. I have him still and was about to leave him in another cache. Because the system does not acknowledge that I have him, I can't choose to drop him off when I log my next cache. ~Phoebe, the puking cat!~ Quote Link to comment
