I was wondering if anyone has gone to try and recover the reference marks for the original WEASEL benchmark? Or if anyone knows of an older mark? Quote Link to comment

I didn't see any mention of any in the datasheet. You might want to read this thread: Oldest benchmarks?. I think that Jeremy's list was derived by looking at the monumented date which would be why KV4219 doesn't show up on the list. Quote Link to comment
survey tech Posted June 29, 2003 Share Posted June 29, 2003 It appears that modern surveying techniques were used to attempt to recover the original marker, resulting in a positive determination that it is gone. Yes, it would have been one of the very oldest had it survived. Quote Link to comment
