GeoWorms
This church cross is listed twice in the database as JT2398and JT2408. Should I log both entries as found, or just leave the older one alone? [This message was edited by GeoWorms on October 27, 2003 at 08:38 AM.] Quote Link to comment
+Kewaneh & Shark
Unless the newer PID and description are a 'reset' of the older PID, and the church cross is found to match both descriptions, there is nothing wrong with logging both PIDs as found. Consider it an easy two-for-one. Keep on Caching! (and Benchmarking!) - Kewaneh Quote Link to comment
+happycycler
Interesting that the adjusted coordinates are so different. EasyGPS says 334 feet between the two. From different eras with different accuracies? Everybody loves benchmarks more! Quote Link to comment

The error is too high for it to be the same makr IMHO. Quote Link to comment
+GEO*Trailblazer 1
I don't know about that I have found them to be as far as 540 ft. off. +Corp Of Discovery
My best guess would be 2 different churches on same spot. An older one that has been replaced by a newer one. Most likely oriented differently, thus the spots of the 2 being off. For here older one would then be destroyed, newer should be found. One other long shot would be if it has 2 spires/crosses. Check cornerstone of building or with someone at the church to get date it was built. Remember, wherever you go- there you are! Quote Link to comment
