Geocache trading cards

What does everyone think? A series of trading cards based off of Geocaching done like baseball cards.

It would have some of the more famous geocachers and also include the different GPSr's and equipment. Also included are Geocaching podcasters like Sonny and Sandy and Sean and Chicagos very own ShazamMan and ScottBerks....would there be an interest in this or am I just being silly?

Cachers? nah. Caches on the other hand would be interesting.

This could work maybe locally, but I can't see how it could be done to have widescale appeal. I wouldn't be interested in cards about caches and/or cachers I didn't know.

we leave a copy of all 5 of our cards in each regular cache container we find.

here is a card i received today in the mail for a trade:

About 1/2 as thin as my card and less glossy.

 

the Lousiana Geocachers page says they (card mint) want the basically the same price for the same qty as you can get them from my source.

 

My source produces a much more quality card i think (i may be bias <smile>)

 

But, i thank the geocacher for sending it to me, it lets me know there are others starting to create cards

 

This is now my fourth unique card i have recieved from other geocachers.
