YemonYime
PHOTO CHALLENGE I: "Shiver me timbers, I found me treasurrrrrrre!" * * * * * * * Post a picture of a team member... wearing a pirate hat, and an eye patch, with a parrot on their shoulder, standing barefoot, in a public fountain, at least ankle deep in water, holding THIS MAP, and a geocoin... TRIUMPHANTLY!!! * * * * * * * Standard Caveats: All listed items, objects and actions are to be taken literally, and must be clearly visible in the photo. And of course, the Cointest Rules posted here apply as well. Specific Ridiculousness: 1. Avast, ye! No homemade paper hats, or cut-out parrots. 2. Polly wanna shoulder? The parrot can be a stuffed animal, puppet...or even real, but its gotta be on the shoulder. 3. Get yerrr feet wet, ya land lubberrr! If it's winter in your part of the world, improvise, but you need to be ankle deep in water, and in a fountain. 4. Aye, here be me booty! Put the "oomph" in triumphant. I need to see some serious jubilation, or you'll walk the plank! * * * * * * * Ladies and Gentlemen, start your search engines! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!! * * * * * * * Quote Link to comment

+wolfslady
Pirate hat - Check Eye patch - Check Parrot - Check Barefoot - What do you mean you won't go barefoot? Drat foiled by a man afraid to show his feet in a picture. Oh well the nearest public fountain I can think of is a 15 mile drive and last time I looked it didn't have any water in it. Nearest one with water that I know of more like 30. Better luck next time. I can't wait to see the pics. What a fun contest. Quote Link to comment

+gardengorilla
Alas, tis a sad day when a pirate must admit defeat. There be no pirate hats or parrots in my domain. As for the whereabouts of a fountain...the closest I would be gettin is the beach at the yacht club...we could do a variation on a sailing galleon but I dont think that would cut it. Good luck everyone! Quote Link to comment

One person drivin' by even honked! It was a HOOT!! We've got more pics. pretty much the same. When Mrs. rockymtn8iv tried to get a better shot of the POG coin (which she did), she cut me legs off! Anyone got a spare peg leg??? Quote Link to comment
+GeocoinGuy
Wait a second... Is that a property fence back there on the left within the trees? Is that a PUBLIC Fountain???? LMAO!
