+AuntieWeasel
I tried doing a search by postal code in Kent, and I was given a list of caches in Canada. I'm sure this is a well-known problem to users of this forum. I wondered if anyone had discovered a workaround; a way to make it understand whose postal codes we're talking. I'm searching around National Trust sites, and they helpfully give postal codes. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Canada's nice! (Well, the parts they speak English! ) Well known problem. Add ,uk after the post code. Seems to be a Google problem, rather than Groundspeak. However Google's own site does seem to manage the post code search better... Quote Link to comment
+AuntieWeasel
That worked. Thanks. Odd...there are none very near Scotney Castle. Didn't I read the Trust was pro-caching? Quote Link to comment

National Trust are pro-caching, and have placed their own in some areas. But. If no cachers, or no cachers that hide caches, live near enough to place and maintain them... Quote Link to comment
+uk89camaro
I have found that a partial post code works just fine. E.g. LE12 9 as opposed to LE12 9DG. Quote Link to comment
+AuntieWeasel
I hide caches! Honest! Well, a couple. They fell off my stats when I moved and adopted them out. Not near enough Scotney to hide one there. Sadly, all around me is SSSI. Quote Link to comment
