We are creating a network of 10/10/10 for 10! Events in Wetlands.

Instructions:

We are asking geocachers around the world to plan an event in a wetland on October 10, 2010 and experience the wetland for 10 minutes!

Geocaching is celebrating 10 Years too!

In addition to the standard event cache Guidelines, 10/10/10 for 10! We ask that you include these simple guidelines:

1. Events must be held October 10, 2010.

2. The name of the event needs to be formatted this way: "10 /10/10 for 10! <wetland name and full location>." For example: 10/10/10 for 10! McNally Landing, Winona, MN

3. At least 10 people must attend the event.

4. The event must be held in or by a wetland. Wetlands are broadly defined as streams and rivers, lakes and ponds, marshes and swamps, estuaries and beaches, even caves with emerging springs!

5. Do 10 things at your event such as: Identify 10 birds, Identify 10 plants, List 10 reasons you love this place, Pull 10 pounds of invasive plants.

6. Upload a photo along with a legible sign showing the event coordinates and location name. These must be uploaded by October 12, 2010 to be included in the celebratory video for the Ceremony designating the Mississippi River Floodplain Wetland of International Importance

7. Say thank you to the wetland 10 times for cleansing the water you drink and the air you breathe!

Who is the judge of whether or not we complete the requirements for the special icon??? Can you provide a link to an existing cache page, so we can get an idea/s? Is there clip art of the logo for these events we can copy and paste? How many events have been published so far?

Don't know-no-- don't know- don't know... thanks for your interest!!

?????

I don't see where the original poster mentioned a unique icon for these events. Only that they wanted to create a network of like events celebrating/promoting various wetlands areas on 10/10/10.
