+Chrysalides
http://gizmodo.com/5559670 It's an iPhone case with extra battery power, GPS receiver and is rated IPX-7. Made by Magellan. At $200, you may want to just buy another handheld. But some people really love their iPhone, so this could be an option. Quote Link to comment
+CortandTrent
Wow that is super cool. I wonder how accuracy and battery life will compare to a dedicated handheld. Quote Link to comment
+Team_FussyPants
I'm in the market for a new GPS, and have been shopping the Oregons, and now the gpsmap 62. I have to say that this case is going to be in the running, although I need to see more detail. If I could have wifi, camera, video camera, cell data service, instant satellite imagery, downloaded imagery, phone, mp3 player, and the same gps accuracy, battery life, and durability as a handheld all in one unit I'd be pretty happy. Especially if the unit has replaceable batteries, If I could swap batteries in the field this may possibly be the ultimate geocaching device. Quote Link to comment
