I was told by the land owner, that he was told its one of the original markers set out between the two states. He said that he has lived there all of his like and he’s 89 years old and his family has owned the land for ever and its always been there. Quote Link to comment
+rogbarn Posted May 5, 2003 Share Posted May 5, 2003 The fact that it states "1858-9 ON THE EAST SIDE" indicates to me that that is when the stone was originally placed. Hopefully someone more knowledable can confirm or explain further. Quote Link to comment
