+Uncle Alaska
I know there have been many questions about what should be eligible as "found it" I was hoping to get some opinion on this one. http://www.geocaching.com/mark/details.asp?PID=LV0612 Please read the description and look at the picture and then "let me have it!" -Uncle Alaska- Quote Link to comment
NightHiker
When I asked a similar question the response was that as long as you can see the disk, not just the box or metal cover over the disk, you can log it as a find. You can try to get a photo through binoculars so that the disk is clearly visible. Quote Link to comment
survey tech
Looks like a winner to me. As I recall, Hwy. 101 is known as Blood Alley, so I think you made a good decision keeping your distance. For those looking for a general rule for such cases, think of it this way. If you were a professional surveyor and your reputation and career depended upon the accuracy of your statements, would you tell another professional surveyor who is depending on your judgement that the marker is definitely there? If so, call it a find. Quote Link to comment
+brdad
I bet if you had a strong pair of binoculars with you, you could have read the disk, and would have had less doubt as to whether to call it a find or not. But you did see it there, good enough for me. I think your problem is low self-esteem. It is very common among losers. Quote Link to comment
Red Tractor
Yep, after all that trouble you get a find from me. Quote Link to comment
Couch_Potato
Yes, that's definately a find. You can see the disk and it matches the official description. With good binoculars or a telescope you could probably even read the station name off the disk. I'm not lost! I just don't know where I am. Quote Link to comment
+rogbarn
It's interesting to read the question, look at the benchmark, make my own decision and only then read all the replys made before me. Especially when I agree with everyone else, it looks like a find to me! Quote Link to comment

+TeamMoehrke
I logged a similar mark - http://www.geocaching.com/mark/details.asp?PID=JT0228 - in between the traffic lanes of Interstate 80. 150,000 vehicles pass by it every day, so there's no way to get any closer without the proper cones and flashing lights and safety gear.
