bargewell3
We just upgraded from an old Garmin eTrex to a Magellan eXplorer GC and I can't figure out how to upload the query results to the unit. I can view the results and upload them one-by-one, but one of the main reasons we got the new unit was to upload many at a time. Can anyone advise? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
miniwhip
The easiest way is to drag the GPX files (as many as you want) to the geocaches folder on the GC. There are two other ways, one through GSAK, and one through VantagePoint. For those, you will have to read my forum. Quote Link to comment
bargewell3
Thanks. Haven't figured out drag and drop yet, and really didn't want to do them one at a time since I can run the query...I know there's a way to upload the whole query, but I just have no idea how. I looked on your forum and didn't see the information, and don't have GSAK or Vantage Point, and don't know anything about them. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Redwoods Mtn Biker
Extract the .gpx file from the pocket query. Connect your unit to your computer. Use you file explorer to view the Magellan. There should be a geocaches folder there. Copy the .gpx file to it. Quote Link to comment
bargewell3
Thank you!! It worked, but only loaded 200, though the manual says it holds thousands. I'll keep playing with it, but at least I got some loaded! Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
