Hi!!!! I learned about geocaching from a neighbor of mine and I am really anxious to get started. I purchased a Garmin 315 only problem is that everything is totally greek to me. Please tell me that this does get easier. It sounds like a lot of fun. I want to get started and find a few caches so I can come up with a cache of my own to put out. I think I'm putting the information into my GPS and them I am totally lost. Any or all help would be appreciated. Thank you

Welcome! First off you'll probably want to post this message in the "Getting Started" forum. Benchmark hunting is a relatively new thing (and in many cases you don't even need a GPS unit) icon_smile.gif

If you have any specific questions about your unit, there are many folks here in the forums that have the 315 and can help you. Try to familiarize yourself with entering waypoints and basic use of your GPS unit before heading out. And stick to easy (level 1) caches first go around.
