The new "Like" feature will allow any business, agenda, or group to create a facebook account, a GC.com account, and insert links to themselves on any and all Cache pages. How long will it take. Please Discuss.

You probably have a valid point, but I'm thinking that when a couple more people click "Like", it might just change to "4 people like this" or some such. I didn't try it though, but that's the way it works on the news feed at facebook.

If they aren't your friend their names don't show up.

 

Therefor it is a waste of time for a spammer to do.

Have to agree with that sentiment right there. I couldn't give rat's patoot about facebook or people voting to like any of my caches - that's what the log is for, not a link to some outside social networking junk.

I agree. I do use Facebook because it's a way for me to keep in touch with people, and I admit, my geocaching stats are even on my profile, but I will probably never use this new feature. Facebook is not my whole life; I don't even use it as much as most people I know. It just seems like it's everywhere lately!
