+s2kdude
So out GCing today I find a TB in a stash. I'm all kinds of excited and I decided to grab it and move it on to its next adventure, We get home from our trip and sit down to log everything for the day. However this TB's log is messed up. First off it was not listed in the cache I found it in. Second it is still showing in the hands of another Geocacher. What do I do here to correct and update the TB logs? Thanks for the feedback. +ghettomedic
"Grab from somewhere else" Then post a note to the cache that you got it from dropping it off. Then "Retrieve" from the cache. And you are set. Quote Link to comment
+jellis
Becareful I did that and got some cacher send me a nasty note saying I was a moron for not being patient enough to wait for them to log it out of the other cache and into another cache. If they didn't log it out how do you know how long it had been sitting there. I would contact the cacher who has it and give them a nudge about if they are going to log it. Quote Link to comment
+s2kdude
Thanks for the advice. The prior cachers last log was on 5/15. Is two plus weeks enough time to log a TB? Quote Link to comment
BCProspectors
Two weeks is plenty. Go ahead and grab the bug and log it. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
... Edit: let me say this much. The last log of when they grabbed it is not when they dropped it off. Give people a chance to do their logging. Edited June 1, 2010 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Two weeks may be long enough, but then it may not. I would shoot them an email and ask if they forgot to log it, first ('cuz it does happen). You can log it anytime, but still use the date of your pickup. It is interesting though, in that the other cacher that "grabbed" it, has no finds. Quote Link to comment
