how long for account to change

i have just paid using my credit card to be convertede from basic.

 

i got thr recipt page saying payment recieved, and at the bottom a link to my account which still shows as a basic ??

 

how long for the switch ??

If you haven't done it... you should log out, then log back in. The information needs a reset.

you should also access the forums from the link on the left hand side on your profile page, that way your status here will be updated too

logged completely out and back in, logged out the forum and used the link to come back, all still say basic member

 

any ideas

So it does. Can't really give you an answer.

If I remember right, it changed immediately for us.

Forums is a different server, sometimes not so quick there.

 

EDIT: Holiday weekend over here. Dunno if that is going to make a difference.

still no change so have logged it with Groundspeak

I seem to recall in the past someone mentioning that credit card payments require staff interaction before they go through. This may not still be the case.

 

However, the staff does not work on weekends nor on holidays.

you should have gotten a email to confirm the details.

i think there was a update link

but logging out and back in should reset your details

check your profile,if it still dosn't show,emailing Groundspeak may get a answer or the right steps to complete the process.

it is a holiday,so you may not get response till they come back...

like motorcycle_mama said,there may have to be a staff interaction to update.
