I placed a few caches today that I would like to have published on a particular day, which will coincide with our Geocaching 101 program we will be leading.

 

Do I let our local reviewer know about my request in the Note to Reviewer?

Yes, that's the place to make the requset. It's not a guarantee, but they try to help out.

You can also list it in the title "Do not publish before 00/00/2010 - cache name"

 

Then you can change the name on the night before publishing to remove the section pertaining to the date.

I always send an email to our local reviewer. That way I know he(she?) is on board or if there are issues that need addressing.

Yeah, I may just send him (mtn-man) an email just in case. Thanks for the advice.

You can do that and your local reviewer will try to accommodate you. He may not be able to. If you want to increase your chances let him know well ahead of time so he isn't planning a weekend canoe trip for the day you want your cache published.

I put four out for my cache class and the reviewer published them on the day requested.
