+Flah_and_Kids
Hi, We have been geocaching without a GPS unit for a while. Just finding the easy ones that can be tracked via the clues and the coordinates on Google Earth. I just bought us a GPS unit (Oregon 200 with Canadian maps pre-installed) and will be receiving it this week. I would like to find an experienced geocacher in the North Halton, Ontario region that could give us a hand with the basics of using a GPS unit. We look forward to joining a team for weekend caching. Thank you FayeC and the kids. Quote Link to comment
+Tequila
If you are available on June 12, you might want to consider coming out to COG Spring Fling at Tiffen Conservation Area west of Barrie. It is the premier mega event of the year and there will be lots of cachers there that would be happy to help you. You can also tag along with other cachers and have great discussions about the sport. Here is a link to it: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...079f1&log=y Hope to see you there. Quote Link to comment
