oregon 550 looking up

All though I only tried the tutorial on the set once and got 50 yards down the road I left it untill I had gone geo hunting I spotted a couple of down loads close to me Wherigo Hmm thats good ill try that down loaded 2 Hmm I have been learning to make a cartridge of my own ?? I thought I would run through the Tutroial on my Garmin Hmmmm just freezzes Up have to take batteries out to get it on again ??? any answers would be nice??

At the moment, I don't know what to tell you or even say. With every new model release, Garmin seems to produce less and less reliable Wherigo Players. It's surprising, though, to see even the tutorial cartridge causes the GPSr to freeze. I always thought that was the cartridge Garmin was testing their Player against (supposing they do any testing at all).

 

Do you have any friends with 550s you can see if the same thing happens? For that matter, are you running the most up to date firmware on the GPSr? That's about all I can think of to check at the moment.
