+contact dermatitis
Got WAY in over my head trying to run a macro through GSAK. Let's just leave it at that. Yeesh. There are something like 3570 of them, multiple dupes. EDIT: Figured it out, almost accidentally. Sorry mods! feel free to delete topic. eaparks
With Garmin's POI Loader there is an option to delete all POIs or you could just delete the poi.gpi file when the unit is in mass storage mode. Quote Link to comment

THANKS! I actually stumbled across the first one you mention. For some reason, my GPS isn't showing up on My Computer on this laptop. Need to familiarize myself with second method you mention. Thanks again Quote Link to comment

Thanks again With a datacard in the GPS:Main Menu Setup Menu Interface Menu USB Mass Storage <- and press the Enter button The datacard will mount as a removable drive under My Computer Quote Link to comment
+contact dermatitis
Deleting poi's has become VERY handy as I'm trying to understand why, every time I run a macro out of GSAK, it keeps ADDING to the data (duplicating it) I got when I ran it before. It. . .keeps. . .replicating. Rather than just sending me the x number of POIs that cover my 200 caches, it keeps ADDING to my previous times running the macro. I'm thinking there's something about macros I clearly don't understand. Something pretty important! Quote Link to comment
+mr007s
I don't think GSAK is replicating the poi's. The Garmin POI loader is the culprit. You should see a box to tick for removing previous poi's before loading the new file. Quote Link to comment
