+TonyB
Having spent a few years enjoying accuracies of down to 3m whilst in Northern Ireland, suddenly, now I'm back in England and I can't get any better than 15m. I've changed to British Grid, what else can I do? Quote Link to comment
+kwcahart
I'm probably completely wrong but it seems like I read a thread here somewhere that if you change battery types in the 60 series, you have to recalculate the compass??? Quote Link to comment
g_o_caching
Even if you didn't change the batteries I would still recalibrate it. I read somewhere that if you move 500 miles with it you need to recalibrate. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
roybassist
1. What method are you using to determine accuracy? I presume you’re just reading the +/- number under “Location” on the satellite page, but there are other ways. It makes a difference in the answer. 2. How long has it been since you first noticed the change in accuracy? A day? A couple of weeks? Months? 3. I know this seems unlikely, but make sure your unit hasn’t inadvertently gotten set to Battery Saver mode somehow. That would do it. Quote Link to comment
sviking
What the heck does the electronic compass have to do with the unit's accuracy, as determined by the quality of satellite reception at the time? Quote Link to comment
