+dorqie
a bulk photo uploader. I am trying to upload about 10 pics of a geocoin I took arround town and this is a pain in the behind! I wish I could select more than one at a time, even if it means waiting longer for it to load. Link to comment

You have to decide if uploading all the photo's one-by-one is worth the feeling of doing something nice for the coin owner. As it is, uploading one photo takes long enough...for those on slower connections what you want could lock up their computer for the rest of the day. Link to comment

Best of both worlds? Link to comment

+Jeepers-gasfree
How about a "DNF" Icon on the Google map to make it easy to track caches that I need to get back to? Link to comment

Keystone
The topic of this thread is a bulk upload feature for images. Please remain on topic. Thanks! Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
I neither agree nor disagree with the bulk uploader (is that wishy-washy enough?). While it may be good for those with other than dial-up connections, it can also lead to time-outs that do occasionally happen, e.g. when things get busy, and you don't know it until you have already hit the [uplodad] button. What then, start over? Already stated, bulk uploading would present problems for those with slower connections, option or no because they are gonna try it! Conversely, uploading single photos isn't all that difficult. How many do you upload to a page in any given setting? More than 5 may be a problem (time-wise). Do you often do more than 5 for any particular page? Perhaps this could be pursued, but I don't really recall hearing a request for it, until now. Perhaps if more positive responses, followed by more requests would result at least in a yea/nay decision. You have to decide if uploading all the photo's one-by-one is worth the feeling of doing something nice for the coin owner. Yes, I do feel it is worth it, looking at it from both sides of the coin. You may notice that I replied to someone who wished there was a DNF button. My post was and is well within the title and the post to which I described. Link to comment
+ADTCacheur
I just have one question: are you honestly saving time by taking the time to make a feature request, and waiting back for the possibility that it might get fulfilled? If so, then you will probably use this feature to cause long breakdowns on the site, and if you aren't, it's not worth it. You have to decide if uploading all the photo's one-by-one is worth the feeling of doing something nice for the coin owner. Yes, I do feel it is worth it, looking at it from both sides of the coin. Just don't show the tracking number! Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
Benchmarks, Wherigo and Letter Boxing have been separated out. How about microcaches? Apples and oranges. Actually, more like apples and the crates that oranges come in. Edited May 24, 2010 by Prime Suspect Link to comment
+JJball
I don't see how a bulk loader could hurt any of the users. If your computer is slow and/or your connection is laggy/slow, then just select one photo as you've been doing. Meanwhile, those of us who have computers/connections that can handle it, save a lot of time. I've never seen a bulk uploader that MAKES you choose more than one photo. Link to comment
