What is "Florida Style"?

Recommended Posts

While caching out of state recently, I ran across a description that said the cache was hidden "Florida Style" (I was not in Florida!) Fellow cachers I have asked have not heard the term before. Can someone explain what a "Florida Style" hide is?

Probably in palmettos.

PA style - Ammo can in a tree stump

WV style - The terrain rating is for getting to the parking area :D

I have seen two different definitions of NC style depending on which part of the state you are in.

Well, it's a wide state. We have mountains at one end and beaches galore at the other. And a lot of red clay and pine trees in between.

We dont even bother naming mountains in Arizona that are only 6684 feet in altitude (Mt. Michell highest point in NC). But I guess, technically, it is a mountain.

Eh, wait another 400 million years or so, yours will erode down a bit too.

Did someone mention BBQ?
