+tumptyteapot
Hiya I have managed to find a grand total of 12 caches with a Garmin nuvi 200, I was wondering if it would easier if had OS maps on an SD card - or would it be better to get a GPS that was made more for geocaching than driving on the motorway? Either way, if you have anything useful that would help me for sale please let me know :-) I'd be after maps for the South West as I live in Bristol. Cheers Quote Link to comment
+dfx
i think car navigation GPS devices only provide a very rudimentary way of looking for geocaches, so yeah, i would recommend towards a dedicated handheld GPS first (or some kind of GPS-enabled smartphone with the proper software, if you happen to have something like that around and don't want to invest in a dedicated unit yet).
