Which GPS works best with Mac OS

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't search "mac" in the search fxn.

 

Browsing the GPS units at the local WalMart and noticed they all said Windows and not Mac. Is this really a problem?

The problem is rarely the GPS itself - it's the support software to go with it.

You don't say whether you're talking handheld or automotive, or your intended use, all of which will change the decision tree a bit.

I am on an iMac running 10.5.8 and use a Garmin Oregon for paperless caching! Love it! Used to have a Garmin Etrex Legend HCX that worked great too - used Maccaching to load them but was not paperless - made the upgrade and just drag and drop the PQs onto it and ready to go. Very easy.
