+Delta68 Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 When logging an Attended on an event it would make sense (to me) if the Attended date defaulted to the listed Event date rather than the current date. If someone really does want to log a different date they can adjust it themselves (eg if the only attend one day of a weekend camping event ) Although our 10 Year! event was on the 1st, we've had Attendeds logged on the 2nd, 3rd and even the 4th! In case anyone suggests deleting them etc, they are valid logs - I remember meeting them all - it's just the dates that are wrong... Thanks Mark

Not to mention the Colorado Field notes bug, where it always defaults to the date of the newest cache you've logged on the site, vs the timestamp in the Field Notes. I'll bet that's responsible for a chunk of the later date logs.
+StarBrand Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 This makes sooooooo much sense it almost hurts. Add my vote.

CacheAddict.com Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 (edited) Default. I would either vote for it do only allow the date of the event or... Post a DNF if they log the wrong date and say please attend the event on the correct day. Yeah, I like that one better. but if backed into a cornor will go with default or limit the date to the date of the event. edited for: While we are on this topic, should you be able to log an Attend before the date of the event. I did this last week be mistake. Why would Attend be an option before the day of the event? Edited May 5, 2010 by CacheAddict.com
