How to drop a TB in a new own cache?

Hi, I could not find an answer using the search.

 

I plaaced a new geocache and at the moment I'm waiting for the review. I placed a new TB in this cache. Now I don't know how to drop this TB in the cache inventory. Do I have to write a find note as usual? Or is there any other way?

If you activated the TB, it will be in your inventory. You can write a note and drop it in as normal. I don't know if you have to wait until it's published to drop it or not.

no you don't need to wait until it's published. just "log your visit" on the unpublished cache, write a note and drop the TB.

You don't have to wait until the cache has been published but, personally, I think it's a good idea to wait until you get that email notification of publication. Plenty of caches don't get published, for various reasons, then they have to be changed/moved/edited etc. Sometimes a TB can be stuck in an unpublished cache for weeks while the problems get sorted out (if they ever do). That might not matter too much if it's your TB but it can be annoying for another TB owner when it's theirs that's stuck!
