Thought I'd share

I just got back from finding a cache on the ranch where I was born. I'm feeling pretty nostalgic at the moment, but I thought I'd share... GC1061F

 

The firefighters that are memorialized by this plaque/cache were fighting a fire that was started by meth-amphetamine cookers. Many acres were burned, and they perished when their helicopters collided.

I just read the log. Very well put, I wasn't aware that you grew up out there. I've not made it out that direction yet, but after that log I'm going to have to soon. See you tomorrow.

Thank you for reading I appreciate it. And J, yes that was where I grew up. I recommend the cache, it's a little bit of a drive, but totally worth it. I'm hoping to bring my sister out to see it as well.

Thanks again. I especially have respect for firefighters, as my brother-in-law is one, and I know how hard they work... amazing. If my health were better I'd love to be a volunteer firefighter.
