USGS BM that is not in NGS Database ?

If this has been asked before... sorry

I got back from a vacation in Hawaii yesterday. One of the pictures that I took was a BM that I "found" while at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. I did not have a GPS with me... just literally saw it outside of the Jagger Museum.

I cannot find this BM listed either in Jeremy's list here or the NGS database at http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/datasheet.html . This BM is USGS, stamped at 4076 feet.. with no other station designator.

Any ideas on how I can find which mark this is?

Thanks,

Jeff

There are a lot of USGS benchmarks that are not in the NGS database including many shown on the topo maps. Some are there but there doesn't seem to any rhyme or reason to it. I understand that USGS maintains a database of their own marks but that it is not on line. SurveyTech had something to say about this but I can't remember what he said.
