+MissJenn
We have just created a Flickr group for 10 Years! events. http://www.flickr.com/groups/10years/ It will be really fun to see pictures accumulating from the various events around the world, especially the ones with the sign saying the location. Once there to be enough photos to get the Flickr slideshow going, it will be even better. Quote Link to comment

+Kit Fox
Awesome idea MissJenn! I hate the compression of the Groundspeak uploaded images, so I hosted my 10 yr event image on Flickr also. Quote Link to comment

PS: just checked again, all public, nothing filtered, and all added to the group. no idea what's going wrong. Edited May 2, 2010 by dfx Quote Link to comment

+t4e
someone just posted an amazing log on my 10 Years Event and i felt that it would be nice to share with everyone So... I was at the entrance to the Laurel Creek Conservation Area, signing up for my season pass to the park when someone drove up to the gatehouse and said "we're here for the geocaching event". The girls at the gatehouse just waved them through. I thought to myself... what the heck is "geocashing"? The ladies at the gatehouse couldn't really help. So... I went home and found this website and the history of your event and got hooked. I signed up for a membership right away and am going to go find my first cache tomorrow with my family. Thanks for inadvertently putting me onto a cool family activity! Shyle http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...67-1f928a0bd93b Quote Link to comment

+MissJenn
There are 467 items added to the Flickr group so far: http://www.flickr.com/groups/10years/ If you see fewer than 467 right now, it probably has to do with the permission settings each person placed on their photos and maybe your own membership status with Flickr. +hallycat
I just want to say that I see a lot of folks saying a good time was had. I can't say I've ever been to an event and NOT had a good time, even if we were freezing, sweating, getting stuck in knee deep snow, falling in a creek in winter. It's always been a lot of laughs and warm feelings. Thanks for them all!! Quote Link to comment
