I live in birmingham and want to go out Monday that's not miles away (out of the midlands) to grab loads of caches, just wondering does anyone know of a place that's not only scenic but also has loads of caches, Cheers.

Just had a quick search...there are a few around Sandwell Valley, whichisn't a bad place.

You could venture out to Clent maybe?

There are quite a lot of caches on the Malvern Hills these days.

I was actually thinking malvern hills but wasn't sure if there are many on the hills but now I know cheers, I've done a few in sandwe cheers

If you go to this cache page (one chosen at random for being in the Malvern Hills area)...

 

Curse of the FTF - Worcestershire.

 

then scroll down beneath the description, to the left of the map, you can click on "Geocaching.com Google map"

 

Gradually zoom out from that map link and you'll see all the caches in the surrounding area spring into life.

 

It's an easy way to get an idea of the cache distribution around an area. You can click on the link to any of the caches in the column to the right of the map.

How about the Lapley Loop series, just to the West of the M6 by Penkridge (GC236FJ) is the 1st one. Nice and scenic, very quiet and loads to do.

I did the Lapley loop and Bickford Grange series a month ago. I had taken a day of work to use up some A/L. It was a nice 10 mile work and 41 caches found.

If you can get to Derby a good walk along the canal from Wllington would bring you loads of finds
