Jelf_gps
Just joined this forum. Info on the "Benchmark Hunting" intro page implies that the Geocaching site maintains a database of 'found' NGS benchmarks. If true, how can I access this database? I want to see if BMs listed by NGS for my area have been 'found'. Joey Quote Link to comment
+Agent Okie
The main Benchmarking page is what led me to join this exciting hobby. You can enter your zip code at the top of the page and it will show you all the marks in your area. If they have been logged before, it will show you the last time they were visited. I was amazed to find that there 25 in my area and only two had been visited. I felt it was my responsibility to find the rest. I will be adding a signature soon! Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
http://www.geocaching.com/mark There's no blush icon here but I'd use it now. We should have it on the main links but that would be a nightmare to change at this point. The new site will set things straight.
