Invalid directions question

If directions are no longer valid do to a change of some sort, should I report an update to the NGS? The BM I found the other day, is still there, and in good condition, but the directions are no longer useable because the mentioned "gate no. 3" has been closed for several years now with no likelihood of ever being reopened. I can go get new directions to use another gate.

 

Here is the information I am talking about.

 

FJ1003''TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE POST OFFICE IN MIDWEST CITY,

FJ1003''DRIVE EAST ON SE 29TH FOR 0.6 MILE TO TINKER AIR FORCE BASE

Sure, just fill out the NGS recovery form and in the box where you put added comments say something like "gate 3 is permentently closed, here is the new to reach" and then give complete directions, even if you copy the beginning from the previous description. I have noticed in reading quite a few of these that they like to keep the to reach info complete and up to date. It will be a valuable addition to that BM info.
