+sodapop11
How do I get a GPX file from Geo.com? I just have the free version now. Quote Link to comment
+simpjkee
As a member, I think you can only download a single caches .gpx file from the cache page. You have to be a premium member to get pocket queries, which is a group of up to 500 caches in one .gpx file. Quote Link to comment
+sodapop11
I figured it out. I just had to open a single cache and click on the loc file. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
GSAK is kind of pointless if you are only downloading one LOC file at a time. It could take hours to get a decent database and there won't be much info in it beyond the coordinates and cache name. You can download multiple caches from the search results page by checking the box to the right of all the caches you want to download and clicking on the download button near the bottom of the page. This will download up to 20 caches with a few mouse clicks. Unfortunately this also gives you LOC files with limited information. To really get your money's worth out of GSAK it's best to use pocket queries to obtain GPX files. Edited April 26, 2010 by briansnat Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Yup - GSAk is kind of pointless without all the information contained in a GPX file - to get those you need to spend the $30 to be a premium member. Pretty dirt cheap for GPX files alone. Quote Link to comment
+sodapop11
I enjoy GSAK. I just need a data base of the caches near me and a record of my finds/DTF. Thanks for the info. I will keep it in mind for later. Quote Link to comment
+Chrysalides
If LOC is all you're after, you can do a search and download 20 caches in one LOC file at one go. Quote Link to comment
+cache_r_joe
For the $30 a year it's well worth getting a premium membership. That way you can set up your Pocket Queries and then have GSAK automatically pull them from your email account. I have an account set up just for PQs. It's great, and helps support the infrastructure that is needed to keep this addiction going. Quote Link to comment

Its so awesome, all you have to do is load up GSAK press 2 buttons and then have all the caches loaded and ready to be sent to the GPS. Couldn't be easier Quote Link to comment
