+Egnix
I've been curious as to why the benchmark ew7493 doesn't turn up in the geocaching.com database. It is on the NGS site. Perhaps because there is not textual history/description? Quote Link to comment

Jeremy
Updates are available via ftp. Elias created the parser to get the data in, we just have to do a check against the data and update whatever new changes were made to the benchmarks. That's where most of the work will be. +Oberon_Kenobi
I found a benchmark (nearly by accident) that wasn't in the geocaching database. I checked in the NGS database and it was reported as destroyed. I reported it (MS0140) there as having been recovered. Geocaching.com reports destroyed ones, but this one wasn't in there. What about adding a way to report NGS benchmarks recovered that aren't in the database. Quote Link to comment
+Freelens&Mosie
access the NGS data base? I have one not listed also. You can't be lost if you don't care where you are. Quote Link to comment
Cracker.
http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/ Click the "data sheet" link. Its nice, because they give you several different criteria to search by. Once you get the data sheets you want, you can "Save As" either an html or txt file to your hard drive. Art www.yankeetoys.org www.BudBuilt.com http://www.ttora-ne.mainpage.net/ Quote Link to comment
