pamlicojack
While I'm not one of those who rushes out to get a FTF, I have gotten 3 and one co-FTF. The CO's have recognized that on their pages. However, when I update the stats on my profile page using MyGeocachingProfile.com, it does not recognize me as having any FTFs. My question is, do you need to do something different when you log the find in order for FTF stats to get recognized, especially by the aforementioned profile generator? Quote Link to comment
StarBrand
Not familar with that particular website but in most programs - you have to tell it which caches you are the FTF or you have to use specific language in your log entry. The website does not recognize FTF in anyway. Quote Link to comment
cw1710
I dont know of anything that recognizes them automatically. In GSAK you have to go in and mark an FTF box for it to recognize. Quote Link to comment
WHO-DEY
the only place that FTF's are real, are in the "FTF hounds" mind. Can't log what is not real..... Quote Link to comment
Gitchee-Gummee
Most stat generators will have a search function to pick out "FTF" mentioned in the log. Upon utilizing that, you should review those searched to make sure it was a true FTF, then you can add it to your profile page stats manually or sometimes they have a check-box feature to include it. Obviously, not all stat generators are the same. Quote Link to comment
buttaskotch
In Mygeocachingprofile.com you must list each GC# that you FTF'd individually. Go to my account and you will see an area to input the information. Note:once you do that, you must re-run your "my finds" PQ again to "activate" the GC's Once done, you will see it pop up. You can take a look at my particular profile to see how it looks. Have fun! Quote Link to comment
