Dale_Lynn
I was out riding today, found a bench mark. Took L&L of it with GPS and copied number off it. Number was M1192 over the date of 1968.. Maybe I'm not searching the right NGS database, because everything says its not a valid number... Did I miss a leading "alpha" character on the marker? +GEO*Trailblazer 1
It may be a Elavation? what is the elevation of that point + - You may have found what is called an isolated bench mark.If it is not listed here or there you may have to write the Authority of the Bench mark BLM NGS USGS if you are using a Quadrangle map,you can write and get the Information in the Upper right hand corner of the map to the address in the lower right hand side of the map. When all else fails Geotry again. Quote Link to comment
