Maritime Mega Posted April 15, 2010 Share Posted April 15, 2010 While everyone else is planning their 10th anniversary events for the May 1st weekend (and rightly so), the Maritime Mega Organizing Committee is planning one for a little later in the year. On July 10th, 2010 we will be celebrating 10 years of geocaching in Canada at the Maritime Geobash 2010! The first geocache in Canada was placed just outside of East River, Nova Scotia on June 28th, 2000 and is still active today. We are currently looking for donations of unactivated or non-trackable geocoins to be auctioned off to help with the cost of the event.
