+DeRock & The Psychic Cacher
I would list it as a letterbox. Looks like it was changed to a multi at one time. Who knows what it was before that. Deane AKA: DeRock & the Psychic Cacher - Grattan MI Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Naw. It doesn't have a stamp. 'Not at listed location' makes it an offset (multi), IMHO. Quote Link to comment
+simpjkee
Multi. It's definitely not a Traditional since it is not at the posted coords. Quote Link to comment
+NYPaddleCacher
Naw. It doesn't have a stamp. 'Not at listed location' makes it an offset (multi), IMHO. Agreed. My basic rule for unknown vs. mulit is that I would make it a puzzle if determining the final location requires anything more than basic math it's a puzzle. I've seen some offset caches where one had to do some fairly complex math from numbers found at a location to determine the final coordinates. Personally, I've often wished that in order to list a cache as a multi, that a physical container was required at every stage. That would cut done the confusion on what type to use. I realized that there are so many caches out there published as multis that this would never happen but I can dream, can't I? I thought this was sort of interesting from the cache listing: "The cache is a square camouflaged 26 oz. plastic container with round lid." Huh? Quote Link to comment
