FROM****TORNADO,To out of the BONEPILE

70 years since the last log http://www.geocaching.com/mark/details.asp?PID=GG0052 I guess that good news is always with the other.I have submitted this mark to the NGS and have contacted Deb Brown at the NGS.The Tornado that tore up the whole downtown area of Pierce City 5/4/2003 has some good news for Historic Preservation of what remains.The Building that the Bench Mark was located on was damaged and made the presevation of the mark more important.This one goes with the other 1890 survey mark at Sarcoxie Mo.The next one is in Monett.These are the Old Railroad Survey through the area.I only have one in the area that still elludes me at the present.well I guess I will update more of the details later,I also talked to a local reporter about Geocaching and the Bench Marking aspect and is to get back to me.
