SO, with the re-seed being discussed the idea for the second cointest.

 

Pick the winner for each series east and west semifinals, east and west finals, cup finals.

 

One point for each correct series and a bonus point for picking the correct number of games for the series (best of 7 games, win in 4, 5, 6, or 7). Total possible 14 points.

 

Tiebreaker - pick the total # of goals of the last game.

 

Second tiebreaker - Stanley cup MVP.

 

This cointest will start once the teams are re-seeded for the next round.

 

E-mail answers.

 

Open until the drop of the puck first game second round.

 

Must have at least 5 cointestants.

 

Any Questions ask.

Another lower seed is moving on in the east as the Boston Bruins eliminate the Buffalo Sabres in 6 games.

Hey I know didly about hockey (as you can tell by my submissions :D ) but was willing to take a guess!! Here I thought they played seven games anyways, but have come to realize it could end in four!! Shows what I know about playoffs!! Thanks for the cointests, and thanks for the new (to me) sport to keep up with!

For the ones who do not know a lot about ice hockey... do not worry at all! I do not know a lot too! :D I only see ice hocky in movies and in Winter Olympics.. if they show some here in Greece! :D

 

So give a try! Sometimes the luck of the first timers is huge! :D

 

I participated in an older cointest about american football! The only thing I knew about this game is that the players wear a plastic armory, some guys are making a wall to avoid the other team to pass, a guy is giving the ball, with a pass between his legs, to an other player of the team who is behind, and he throws it to someone far away! This guy catches the ball and runs like a crazy because the defenders are running after him and they try to kill him! :D when they catch him, all the players are siting on him and try to make him flat !?! :D

 

The funny is that not only I won this part of the cointest... but I was only 2 points off from the final score between the teams!! (I didn;t even know how the score goes! B) )

So.. you can do it too!!! Come on!!! Ice hockey can give you fun, adventure, and in here... points and a coin!!!! :sad::D

let out a huge cheer tonight for Chicago Blackhawk Kanes goal in the third period followed close after that by another insurance goal by Byfuglien! woohoo! go blackhawks! :o

 

i must say, i haven't watched this much NHL hockey in a long long time! the cointest has definitely made me more aware of the NHL playoffs! i usually just watch olympic hockey. thanks for the NHL fun!

a great night tonight for hockey! :D for one thing, the NBA has the night off, so no basketball games. however, most importantly, there is an NHL GAME 7! who doesn't love the excitement of "win or the season is over"?! true sudden death! :( there is also a game 6 being played tonight!

 

its too bad that both hockey games will be played at about the same time. who the heck schedules these games?! they couldn't have an early game and then a late game?! too difficult for NHL to do this? really NHL?! and you wonder why fan interest is down?! really?! c'mon NHL...let the fans watch more live hockey games without having to TIVO one, IF they have a recorder! you've got a great product...promote it properly! :laughing:
